On Donald Trump’s Victory

In the wee hours of the morning, Donald J. Trump made a speech for his acceptance of being elected to the Office of the President. This morning, a cultural revolution was started and it is worthy of much celebration. The American People made it clear that they will no longer stand for the establishment’s way of doing politics; that they will no longer subject themselves to the Social Justice Warrior culture of intolerance; that they will no long allow the First and Second Amendments to be eroded any further. The American People have shown that even with a corrupt government and biased, colluding media working against them, that true democracy will prevail.

Over the last twelve hours, I have seen many comments on Facebook claiming that our Second Amendment is finally safe, that gun and ammunition prices will finally go down. I feel it’s my duty to remind those people not to rest on their laurels, and to bring them back to reality.

Our Second Amendment rights will never be safe. As was seen last night in California, there a plenty of ways our rights can be restricted at the state level, ways in which the President can do nothing about. It is for that reason that we must remain vigilant and continue to make our voices heard. Hold your newly elected representatives accountable to their promises; remind them that they work for you, not the other way around.

Freedom isn’t passed down from one generation to the next. It must be earned and protected by every generation. We are ever only four years away from tyranny.

God Bless America and Long Live the Republic
